This is a strange hybrid...a conglomeration of five different musical ideas connected by bridges into one long instrumental rock piece. Progressive rock, new wave, country & western, and smooth jazz are all genres that play their parts here... |

Now, this is interesting! :) A throwback to late 70s/early 80s progressive rock styles with a fresh new outlook for the new millenium. Very nice stuff! Definitely dated and cheesy-sounding, but in an exilerating and fresh sort of way. Very positive and upbeat...it draws the listener in with accessible and digestible melodies before going musically crazy on many levels. Lots of Rush and ELO in ...fluence to be found here, twisted through an obviously wide range of musical influences and styles...if the rest of your upcoming album follows suit it's going to kill! Can't wait to hear more, keep it up! P.S. --- "Techno Logical" is REALLY nice! You should make that your first single from the album. Cheers... :) |

Ha now this sounds like you've got a old school keyboard there, more than software programing, so I think you (and me) are not quite one with the computer just yet. All these track are a wee bit dated and cliched, but fun and nice, and I always had a soft spot for that silly drum pad, like that joke cop music sequence in the film Spun. Of course I think everyone deserves five stars for merit of ef ...fort, but I give you a three because If our music doesn't entertain then it should at least be personal, stamped with your joy or vengeance. Why is it the 70's have so much respect yet the 80's are so tainted? It's taken me so much to learn what little I do today and it is so frustrating, the manuals are taller than me! All three of your tracks are uplifting and positive and thanks to this net-label visit user website I'll soon be following in your footsteps.
